We make setting up a high-quality pod school simple and effective.

About

With schools closed or only offering on-campus learning in constrained environments, parents are faced with difficult choices for their children’s education. Loop Schools makes it easy to form a learning pod and create your own micro-school guided by a prepared and trained facilitator with professional guidance in a safe and supportive environment.

By creating a “Loop” of closely associated families, parents can ensure their children thrive with or without physical schools. Loop Schools prevent learning loss, provide critical socialization, and offers non-academic learning opportunities. Our Loops are small, self-directed communities grouped by geographic location and parent choice, bound together by a common goal of continuing your child’s academic journey.

Setting up a micro-school or learning pod can be challenging for parents already struggling for answers. Loop Schools takes the guesswork out and prepares families to organize and operate their Loops. We help families hire, train, and actively manage professional educators; develop a robust curriculum that builds on district-provided distance learning or homeschool options; and conduct on-going evaluation and management.

Loop Schools supports families and educators in forming communities of learners - home-based classrooms where educators and small groups of students consistently work to help one another learn. When families and educators are all in the loop, students excel.

Our Approach

Expert support and experience sets Loop Schools apart.

Set-up

We guide families in forming the perfect Loop and finding a dedicated educational facilitator to guide your students’ learning. We will help your Loop work through difficult questions like what to look for in a facilitator, setting a budget, and what to do if one of your group is exposed to the coronavirus.

Mentorship

We mentor our educational facilitators and support them in tailoring the learning experience in each Loop according to students’ unique strengths, interests, and needs. Our Loop facilitators will join weekly development meetings and have complete access to our trained team to ensure the needs of their Loops are constantly met.

Maximized learning

We provide resources and guidance for enriching and enhancing the curriculum provided by our students’ schools of enrollment. Loop Schools students are engaged in art, science, physical education, social-emotional learning, and practical life skills. We enthusiastically embrace the belief that education is so much more than a textbook.

Flexibility

Loop Schools is designed to build flexible solutions for your specific needs. From hiring credentialed educators, recent education graduates, or simply relying on volunteer parents, Loop Schools will provide the structure and resources you need to ensure the coming year will be among your children’s most productive. From short-term solutions to long-term alternatives, Loop Schools will support our parents, educators, and students every step of the way.

Classrooms may be closed, but our children’s minds are still open and ready to learn. With Loop Schools, parents can ensure their children’s academic growth, health, and well-being.
